I need some inspiration for ideas to make apps. What apps do you guys wish were there.
i dont care if its the most randomest idea, no matter how small or big, what apps would you guys use that arent available yet?
It would be great if you could develop an app that could tell, by using the chances forum on this site, which kids will and won’t get into Top 20 schools. It would save many people a lot of wasted time, energy, and money.
@Lindagaf Its a good idea but i think kids know if they are at the ivy/top 15 caliber or not. and there are way too many variables. like even the mood of the admissions officer when he is reviewing your app. but good idea. it doesnt have to be just academics, ANYTHING
Chubby, trust me, kids have NO idea. Spend two years browsing CC and you will know why I say that.
On a more realistic note, if someone gives you an idea, and you make an app and make money on it, how does the person who gave you the idea get credit/money for helping you out?
On another thread I said it would be cool if you could see scattergrams, or histograms of a colleges acceptance record, similar to what you see on Naviance. With GPA on the X-axis, and ACT/SAT score on the Y-axis. But from data collected at the COLLEGES vs data collected at individual high schools. Think you could put something like this together? Not sure if the data is available or where you would get it
I wholeheartedly disagree. The best software developers assess their audience’s needs (and desires) before they begin developing something; they don’t just throw together an idea and hope it sticks. It’s refreshing to see someone actually asking ahead of time what people might want rather than creating a solution and then going to look for a problem it might solve.
