I really want a 4.0 for the rest of my high school years but I dont know what a 4.0 would be. Is it a 100 on a 100 point scale? I doubt it is as I see many people on here with 4.0's from top private schools and I DOUBT they got a 100 in every class for their WHOLE high school career. Anyone want to help me? I currently have a 94 average, what would that be on a 4.0 scale?

My son’s school used the 100 point scale, also. To figure out his GPA on the 4.0 scale, he gave himself a 4.0 for each A he got (93-100 at his school), a 3.0 for Bs (85-92), and a 2.0 for the Cs (he had one). Each grade was multiplied by the number of units he received for the class (most were 1.0, but some were 1.5). Then he divided that by the total number of units.

From what I know, a 94 would be a 3.9. A 4.0 is a 95 and above. A 90 is a 3.5, an 85 is a 3.0, etc. and you fill in one decimal for each in between.

Any simple GPA conversion, such as the one above, can help. A 4.0 is an A (typically colleges don’t have A+). Put in your grades from all your classes and it will tell you your gpa. You can also mess around with it to find out what your gpa will be like in a year with hypothetical grades.
