what is a bad sat II score

since cornell , or any college, doesnt release average sat scores... what is a noticeably bad score

im horrible at tests, not to make an excuse or anyhting im just saying.
my two SAT II tests are high 600's (670 and 680) in math I and spanish w/ listening... not impressive, but are these at least OKAY or flat out BAD? everyone on here seems to have high 700s, thats why I'm asking.

well.. its not flat out BAD...maybe if you want to be an engineering major..the 670 on math 1c will hurt you.. but..dont think its horribly bad..but just not that good

I have a friend who got accepted with a 580 on writing (he accidentally skipped a page of questions and was too lazy to take the test again). Engineering.

hahah ic :)

you can get accepted with any score, but in its faculty advisor handbook, Cornell states that "scores below 650 are (for Cornell) weak." see http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=102059 for a rather sidetracked discussion on the matter and a link to the source. However, it merely says "SAT," as opposed to SAT I or SAT II.

well 670 on math IC is a lot better than a 670 on IIC... 670 on IC means about seven - eight questions wrong, which is about an 800 on IIC.

except the questions are more advanced on IIC ;)

I got a 660 on chem and a 690 on math IIC and I'm a bio major...I had some high 700's and an 800 to make up for it, though
