So I am a senior in high school, and I want to be a pre-nursing major so I can later get a BSN. I currently have a 3.6 GPA and a 27 ACT score. Is this competitive enough to be accepted as a pre-nursing major, for example at CSU baskersfield CSU Long Beach?
CSU Long Beach for 2018 admits (nothing more recent) the average CSU GPA was 4.04 and SAT of 1272 which translates to an ACT of 27.
I was unable to find any Pre-Nursing statistical data for Freshman applicants but since Nursing is an impacted program at all of the CSU campuses, the better the stats, the better the chances.
Don’t have a link but, my sense is LB is probably not going to let you in that program.
Bakersfield posts this Faq page - if you click on Program Entry Stats, they show GPA, etc. Looks like 3.7+

Maybe Channel Islands?
