I'm confused about this one, the percentile curves for this test is outrageous. Do you compare the score by percentiles or by the actual score? What do the colleges see?

I believe the colleges see both, but at any rate, the colleges will only compare your actual score, since the percentile scores aren't really comparable. Unlike the SAT I, a lot fewer people take the SAT subject tests, and typically the people that take these tests are very skilled in the subject they are being tested over. As a result, whereas you might recieve a good score, the percentile could still be low because all the people that took the test were knowledgable in the subject.
