What is a good SAT score for ED - Columbia Engineering?

I feel a 2160 isn't gonna cut it. What would you guys recommend is a good score to get in? I understand nothing can be ensured and there is much more to an applicant than just a SAT score. However, there is usually a score range that most applicants fit into. Thank you so much for your time and contribution! Have a wonderful day.

well you generally need extremely high math and science scores (physics, chem,etc.). about the SAT, Id say its safe to be in the 2200’s.

I would say the same: 2200+ is the usual standard for what you’re looking at. Don’t despair, my friend was in the same fix, and significantly improved hers to make it to Col. Eng.

Also for Col. Eng, Math needs to 750+ on the safe side. Aim for at least a 720 on the other sections. Colleges look at individuals scores first, usually.

2100+ Would qualify you for admission.

2200 is Ideal though. 750+ In math (For SEAS).

SEAS heavily weights Math and Science SAT 2 scores

Math 2 should be 770+
Chem OR Physics should be 750+

Thank you everyone! I guess I will just retake it in October. Something must’ve went terribly wrong in the critical reading…scores:
M:770
W:750
CR:…640 -______-

what if your first language is not English, and it’s almost impossible to score more than 500 on verbal and over 700 on writing?

does admission committee take that into account?
