For a top 30ish school, what is considered a great score? a good score? a decent score? Considering the student is not a native speaker. Thanks!

anyone know?

? bump 10chr

Well it also depends on how many years of Spanish you have taken...

For 3 Years

600+

For 4 Years

650+

For 5 Years

700+

Is what you should expect. But for the colleges I would say 680+.

Ugh I'm hoping for 700+ but keep getting like 650 on practice tests... I'm really good at Spanish too, I don't get it! I'm in AP Spanish 5 (Lang)

^ I'm sort of in the same boat. I took 1 practice test and got a 710, but I think part of it was luck. Looks like I must study for next week.

Just took a Kaplan practice test (so it was a bit hard) and got a 710! So I'm pretty excited about that. If I do well on this test it will SO solidify my app.

i got 780 on the PR book, i hope the real test won't be any harder.

I just bought the barrons and am gonna try that in a bit to see if that goes better than Kaplan.

I ended up with a 690. So I think that's pretty good...

Any other input on a good score?

Since it is my opinion that Princeton is awesome, I will say anything greater than or equal to 740.
That the score they use to determine satisfaction of the foreign language requirement.
