<p>Hi! I'm a sophomore in NYIT and am part of the 7 year BS/DO program. I am planning on taking the MCAT next year. I was wondering approximately how long it takes to prepare for the MCAT?
Considering, I also have to take organic chemistry next year, I wasn't too sure if I should just start studying for the MCAT later on, and study for organic chemistry now because I heard that OC is a really tough course and many medical schools use that to determine how likely a student will be successful in medical school.</p>
<p>Does anyone have any words of advice for me?</p>
