What is a "Mid Year Report"? PLEASE help!

Okay, so I applied to the University of Michigan as a fall 2011 junior transfer. I've read a lot of things on these threads that talk about "mid year reports". Does that mean I would have to send in my grades mid way through the semester, since I already submitted my fall 2010 grades?

Sorry, maybe this is a dumb question. But there's no way they could ask me to send my semester grades in the middle of the semester, right? I am just so worried about that because I'm having a tough semester, even though I know I can pull my grades up by the end of it.

Anyway, I'd really appreciate your help - please, I hope it's not true that my admission to transfer could be contingent on the grades I have right now, since they're unofficial, right?

Somebody ease my mind, PLEASE!!!

Does Mich use the common app? Go into your common app, there are “school forms” and download them and print out.

Yes, it is unofficial, but you have to go around and get an instructor from each class to note down a grade or a comment, sign and send in.

You don’t have to send in a mid-year report. Relax.
