What is a normal score gap for the ACT?

<p>I took the september one just to see how it was (I took SAT classes) and I got
34 Science
31 Math
24 Writing
29 Reading</p>

<p>Is it normal for the writing to be so low? I found the science to be extremely easy, math to be managable, reading okay, but the writing, oh boy, the writing was so hard. So many questions in so little time, am I too used to SAT questions or what? I didn't prepare at all so I guess its not too surprising I did bad. I think I want to take it again.</p>

<p>SAT writing is very different from ACT writing. The SAT writers have bunch of there own rules, while ACT of theres. Was it the grammar or essay that got the bad score?</p>
