<p>Most of the top colleges consider you within your environment. If you live in a country with a poor education system, you will not be compared on the same level as a student with an income of 300k/year at Philips-Exeter. Admissions at Harvard are holistic - they view you in your environment.</p>
<p>It’s not merely “a boost” or affirmative action. Don’t downsize the admissions process with platitudes. Everyone who wants a fighting chance at HYPSM must be at the top of their cohort.</p>
