RPI has an application process called "candidate's Choice". What does it mean?

If you've "expressed interest" in RPI (visiting, requesting info, etc.) they'll send you a special application - it's shorter, requires only one essay and one recommendation. Once you return it they guarantee a decision within four weeks.

i don't understand it still. When do u submit it by? and why woudl they send me one in July via email? I need a more thorough explaination please. ( :

Ok, there should be instructions in the application.

But email is just EASIER. Colleges like digital information it's easier for them to process.

As long as you submit it BEFORE the regular decision deadline in April, it's fine. But you have the option of sending it earlier.

Calm down. It's not as complicated or scary as you think it is.

i need specifics. i have searched for them and I am unable to find anything indicating what it is about! can anyone find anything?

It's just rolling admissions. It's aimed to court students who have expressed an interest in RPI.

There are several colleges that will send out "expedited" applications that go by several different names. In general, they are sent to students who have expressed interest in a certain school or are applicants the college wants to attract. The benefits will vary. The applications are generally easier to complete than the Common App.

they often don't have easy access to them on their sites, as it is not for everyone

my D got an application like that last year for another school- no fee, one essay and EA- she got in and is going there

relax about it already

what more do you need to know

and why are you frantic

HEY! I"M NOT FRANTIC! BE QUIET! lol jk. I wasn't bein frantic sorry if i sounded that way.... i thinmk you should chill out too.

Anybody know what schools give there special apps out?

Tulane is probably the most famous for this.
