97-100=A
95-96=A-
92-94=B
90-91=B-
87-89=C
85-86=C-
82-84=D
80-81=D-
Below 80=F</p>

<p>of course the school assumes [rightly so] that no one could get a 100 [though i know a kid that got 104 in geometry, but he’s another case entirely], and of course no one could possibly get lower than a 50 [to their credit i can’t think of anyone who has, teachers are pretty generous with their time when it comes to extra help and the school will give you a tutor if you’re doing really poorly].</p>

<p>For that private school, it was just for elementary and middle school, not high school. I don’t think anyone would be stupid enough to allow that grading scale for high school.</p>

<p>We have the plus minus system but no A+. So unfair!</p>
