I am deciding between two schools. Michigan State and San Diego State!!! I got into both engineering schools but I am more worried about what life will be like???? What would you guys and gals all do?????

I like to party!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be what you want it to be. Don't be surprised if you're not doing as well as you want to do academically if your primary focus is partying.

exactly. you create what you want out of life, simple as that. and everything in moderation...

it's sweaty

and sexy

and a little sticky

It will also be particular to the campus culture at each school. Look for posts about campus life at MSU and SDSU.

For instance, the idea of 'fun' will be far different at CalTech if you compare it to a place like ASU, a school known for its partying and what gemstar describes.

ya i understand that engineering is extremely difficult and i plan to study hard i guess that I am just wondering which school is a better school socially. I know when to get down and study and when I can get down and party. Thanks for the concern though. :)

both of those schools are pretty big, aren't they?

at huge state schools like that you should be able to find people who party as well as taking their studies seriously.
even ASU has its share of engineering recluses.

SDSU if you like to party.

yeah, sdsu...you can go to tijuana

MSU if you like sports

ya i love sports but i also love the beach.......hahah.....:)

San Diego! The best place to party!

Because Roommates Suck

Visit both campuses, get to know the people. You will get more out of a mediocre program if you are happy at the school and willing to work hard than if you are miserable and moping around all the time instead of doing your work.

All about studying. People party too much in college.

so you are telling me you dont party at all Fisher104..........where do you go?????

it is whatever you want to make it like

I would say MSU if you want a nice academic atmoshpere. But dont be surprised if you flunk out of school because you never go to class due to constant hangovers!
