What is considered a "late" application?

<p>I submitted my Boston College supplement on the 31st, and on the CommonApp website it says that BC downloaded my application on the 1st of January. </p>

<p>But when I went on the BC Agora website where I can see the status of my application it says that BC "recieved" my application on the 2nd of January! BC's due date is 1st of Jan, and it says they have to recieve everything by the 1st of Jan. Is my application considered late?</p>

<p>I also did the same thing with Columbia and NYU, I'm just worried that I won't be considered!</p>

<p>You’re fine. You did the right thing - you submitted it on 31 Dec, which is before the deadline. Like what unicameral often said, there isn’t an automatic purging of ‘late’ applications and you will be considered for admission.</p>

<p>But if you’re still worried, why not email admissions?</p>
