What is CSF? I've always known it was a scholarship program thing and I've applied for it every year, but really, what is it? We have an NHS in our school but no CSF--is CSF similar and is it possible to start the club at high school?

anyone…?

California Scholarship Federation!

A joke. Something that screams “college whore.”

Do you not live in California?

I think that the club’s focus is oriented around volunteering.

Its validity varies amongst schools.

^CSF at my school, it does nothing. So, technically your CSF is different or we could say CSF varies depending on the school.

Yeah, CSF varies a lot from school to school. It was founded on a principle of volunteering/networking/&c. However, at my school, we kinda made it all about exposing the school population to colleges by organizing large-scale college tours across the state. Fun stuff.

CSF at my school does nothing to the point where a lot of people just don’t bother with it. Mostly because it costs 5 dollars to join, and you never get any benefit but a special tassel on your graduation cap.

Yeah that’s the main response I’m getting. Doesn’t seem to prestigious ahaha. I even asked if I could get the club in and the person in charge said a type was already established, but it was passive or something. Screw it.
