I keep seeing incoming freshman referred to as DD or DS. What does that stand for?

But the more common term you’ll see here is Dnn or Snn where nn is the year of high school graduation.
Example: D22 = daughter graduating high school in 2022

This confused the heck out of me last year, I tend to protest by actually writing out ‘daughter’ ha ha
People use way too many acronyms on all discussion forums. And each community has its own argot. Takes a while to figure things out.
