I am currently in the sophomore year of my undergraduate career and I would love to continue higher learning immediately after I graduate by pursuing an MBA degree.

That said, is it essential to have at least four years of work experience to get into a top MBA program?
Would a decent undergrad GPA (3.8) and recommendations be enough to get into a top program right after my senior year or after one year of work?

I know a little about Harvard 2+2, but I am on the business track for my undergrad and I am enjoying it. I don't want to change my major just for the sake of having a slightly better chance of getting admitted into that program.

You are not eligible for 2+2.

Thanks Philosopher! That site did help me get an idea of how to prepare myself:

you have to have a great GPA, leadership experience, glowing recommendations, and a good reason for why you want to attend business school after you complete your senior year.

I’m assuming that the GMAT will play a huge factor in admissions for any applicant and more so for those with no work experience.

the more experience you have, the lower your grades can be.
