What is Geometry Honors like on FLVS?

Today my guidance counselor came into my CJ2 class and handed out current transcripts. Well on mine I noticed that my geometry grade from last year was highlighted (I got a D) so I asked her why and she told me that the school I wish to apply to (FSU) won’t accept that low of a grade when it comes to admissions and that I should probably retake the course. Now I have the choice to either take the class again next year (where I would have the same difficult teacher that I got a D with) or take it next semester on FLVS. Obviously FLVS sounds like the better option to me, so I’d like to know from you people who’ve taken a math course through FLVS what I should expect?

Hey, I took Geometry honors this past summer on FLVS and it was an incredibly easy experience. The lessons are comprehensive and the quizzes are not arduous. I completed the course in 4 months and have actually retained things that were in the course. The layout is neat and sensible, so you should totally go for it. I would recommend Geometry honors over FLVS to anyone.

@Shanban1607 How are the DBA’s?

DBAs were at the end of every module (there were 9 modules, I believe), and they were very short, consisting of the teacher asking you about the main concepts in the module, if you understood them, and possibly giving you a short practice problem to complete. My DBAs would last no longer than 10 minutes, and my teacher liked to talk a lot.
