We checked the web site of U Pitt. on Friday, Nov. 13 the first time and found that my son's application was complete. Today, we received a letter from U Pitt. asking for high school transcript. We noticed that the letter was dated Nov. 12 and the stamp on the envelope was Nov. 18. What is going on? Did this hapen for any of c.c.ers? Thanks.

Yeah that happened to me too, the letter is old; as long as your online portal is complete, then you’re good. You should get a letter on the decision in 7-10 days.

Why does this matter?

How frequently does the university update your status online? I had my high school transcript sent like a week ago, and they still haven’t stated that they received it online

they try their best to update it
usually the update after a few business days of receiving your credentials
don’t worry about it! sometimes it takes up to 2 weeks (very frustrating)
however, if it says that they didn’t receive your transcript by 2 weeks, you should e-mail/call the admissions office and ask them what’s up.
