was it worth the money? If you could go back would you choose another school?
Well, I suppose it depends how much each person actually PAYS for. I had really great scholarships so I only took out $30K in loans. For me, $30K was definitely worth going to GW.
If I could go back I would have done the same school, for sure. However, I might have chosen a different major. I for sure would have utilized internships/networking opportunities more, which is probably why I advocate for them on here so much
worth it, wouldn’t have changed my choice unless NYU gave me more money, but GW was far more generous
I had great merit aid from GWU so for me it was not an expensive school. I LOVED my GWU experience. Some of the things that made it great - I was in a program called Politics and Values my freshman year (I don’t know if these programs still exist). We had a seminar together and all lived on two floors of an upper class dorm. It was an amazing group of really smart kids. The location is of course the most amazing thing for anyone interested in politics and world affairs. I do wish I had taken better advantage of work/internship opportunities during my time.
