What is it like for Jews at Junaita?

I noticed that only a few students at Juniata are Jewish. How does this impact the Juniata experience for Jewish students?

Being a small minority can be a very healthy thing to deepen one’s religious identity. Juniata is certainly a very respectful and welcoming place.

We explored Juniata a lot, a place where my daughter would have been the only one like her (mixed ethnicity) and felt very good about it. The bigger factor for considering Juniata is that it may be the most sincere and unpretentious school you will find - especially with such a high quality of education.

My son isn’t really looking to deepen his religious identity. He just wants to feel comfortable. After visiting, I agree Juniata is very unpretentious and academically focused. We loved the place and are no longer concerned about the religious issues.

“The bigger factor for considering Juniata is that it may be the most sincere and unpretentious school you will find - especially with such a high quality of education.” well said Worldspirit!! That sums up why we find Juniata so attractive! I know that your d seriously considered JUniata last year…hope she is happy where she ended up!! My d is torn between Juniata and one other school…will depend on a couple of factors (Eagles fellow etc).
