There are so many activities to do that don't involve drinking. This is not the only thing to do on a college campus.<<

My D found the same. She's had a harder time finding as many non-drinking activities in the outside, after graduation, job world.

Like I said earlier, beware of states of BAness found within a select few people. Usually they'll complain about trivial stuff and bog down the otherwise-true statement that "Harvard people are friendly."

I would say that for most people, the only unfriendly thing that we've experienced Freshman year is the fact that underclassman girls are allowed into finals clubs but guys aren't. Unless they are wealthy and connected or recruited athletes, then they're allowed in.

dbate, congratulations! ha, i'm so happy.

anyway, look bro/ho (jk) but, after spending a lot of time with my big sib up there -- being a week recently last year -- i cannot even begin to tell you how much fun you will have. there is just so much to do -: so many societies; so many places in and around cambridge and boston; so many cool people and uncool people you can make fun of to make you feel better; so many things to do. gosh, i'm really excited for you, man. your four years will be the best of your life yet. i promise you that.

as for finals clubs, they can suck two of 'em. dude, you will have a blast.
