hahaha. feel free to yell at me if i’m wrong, but i smell someone trying to get an answer to the essay

YM…Please, as I said in the other thread, do NOT rely on what OTHERS love about PENN to BLIND YOU!!

YM how about you tell us first what you like about the school and we can go on from there…

lol, this guy posts the same thread under every ivy’s forum.

@shuaishuai - really? Man…that’s absurd.

Just curious Shuaishuai, are you by any chance chinese?

Okay, I think I really created a HUGE misunderstanding right here: I’m NOT by any means relying on others for essay!!!

I’m trying to talk with current students and get a more authentic sense about the school–the process ANYONE would be doing when they visit the campus, talk to the students face-to-face and asking why they love about the school,right? Should you say that everyone who’s doing it are trying to ask others for the essay??? I understand though, in a tense environment when everyone is busy applying, such kind of speculations can easily pop up. But please understand—unlike the domestics who can easily find an alum or visit the campus, this forum has been my medium for such purposes, which i have been finding very helpful. I don’t understand why you keep on accusing me of such behaviors I would NEVER EVER consider doing. I’m feeling a little dissappointed, but as I’ve mentioned, the current critical moments might account for such speculations. Anyway, best luck and hope someone understands ME…

@shuaishuai, I suggest you know before you speak.

YM, what I have to add won’t be of much use to you, but I feel like saying it anyway. I love Penn mostly for intangible reasons. . .to be honest I was iffy about living in philly and didn’t think I’d like the urban environment. I visited anyway a couple of years before applying and fell in love with it; I loved the feel, the setting, everything about it. Penn doesn’t have a residential housing system like Yale or anything comparable that Penn boasts about frequently. You either love the feel of the school or not, so if you are only looking for essay topics I think you need to visit the school.

I’m a current student at Penn and there are so many amazing things about it.

The entire atmosphere here is almost magical. Professors are in the forefront of their fields and the facilities are the best in the country. :)

I recommend visiting campus and getting a feel for yourself! Good luck in applying.
