I am a Chinese student who is currently studying in an international high school in China, but because of my parents’ jobs, I have U.S. green card (only a permanent resident but not citizen). My new SAT score is 1440 (reading680+math760+writing6/6/6), with an 800 in SAT2 Math Level 2 and a 750 in SAT2 Physics. My high school does not provide GPA and rankings, so neglect them. I am the founder and president of school sign language club, doing many activities aiming to help local deaf-mute children. And I am the president of school humanity club, organizing students do presentations about humanity topics in the club. As for community service, I established the community tree science group to hang plastic indicative cards on trees to make people know more related knowledges. I am also interested in audio drama (joined a Chinese dubbing club in the Internet and was the heroine in some plays), playing the flute (passed the highest level exam for unprofessional teenager players in China) and doing Tai Chi (won prizes in my city). I have took part in a summer program in Duke University, learned American Constitutional Law. I would like to apply Mathematics major in Emory University (I also have awards about math in Chinese national level). My personal statement is about how Tai Chi changed my thought on success. And one of my Emory essays is about my favorite book Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens and how it inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and see the bigger world. The other one has not done yet.
I would like to ED both Emory main school and its Oxford College. What is my chance for it?
