i dunno if principal's award or commendations are awards
also my school is not a place where there are many awards.

You will either be rejected EA or deferred and then rejected RD. Have fun

Hmm unless you can get some serious SAT grades, your ec's are average to mediocre for harvard. and i'm not an expert on IB grades... so probably what iwantfood said.

I won't pass judgement because let's face it, what I or anyone else on this forum thinks about your chances will not have the slightest effect on your admissions prospects.

Just curious, you distinguish between 7+/7-/7 at your school? How strange. I go to a similar IB school that's closely affiliated with the UN. A "7" here is a "7", be it 100% or 75% (as the case may be in physics).

Please look at other colleges. I don't think you have over a 10% chance at Harvard or any other Ivy League school to be honest.

But I could be wrong!!

What are your safeties? And do you need fin. aid, coz then chances could get exceedingly screwy.

ur ib scores are high..how could u do so well in ib yet get such a dismal verbal score? I think if you re-take you can do much better but even then you prolly won't get into harvard ea.
don't waste ur ea on a sure no or at best a deferral try cornell ea instead and just apply to harv. rd.
sorry im just saying this cuz u don't have much of a hook- and in ur case being asian is a disadvantage.

Need to point out that Cornell is ED, so it's probably not a good idea if you're not absolutely committed to that school. How about applying to somewhere with rolling admissions like the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor? If you send in your app within the next few weeks, there's certainly a chance of getting in.

sorry i meant ed
