What is my chance for UCB?

no, I’m not qualified for Berk in general, I’m a slacker(3.6GPA and it easily could have been say a 3.9 but I didn’t ever really do homework hence a B in intro to psych and intro to anthropology despite an A test average). I’d be rejected rather quickly. I might be bright, in all likelihood I’m brighter than the average berk attendee, but simply put… I’m a slacker, my ass would be handed to me so fast and I’d fail so quickly I’d be wasting my time and money going to Berkley. I’m sure there’s a great benefit to going there(as in employability) but I’m dealing with reality and doing what I can with what I have, a good mind and a ****ty work ethic. I’ll probably start taking ADHD medication when I go to a UC, I had an A+ average in HS with minimal effort when I was on that stuff (which dropped like a rock when I went off it due to it suppressing my appetite too much) straight out the door, UCB will get you the better job. For me, I would achieve a higher grade point average at Irvine. This inflated GPA is more valuable for getting into graduate schools, and Economics as a course of study improves analytical thinking more than business administration does(think higher GMAT scores)

and I know the majors are not the same, econ != biz admin. That said, I actually know people in hiring positions who have told me that they wouldn’t give much credence to one over the other and would generally look at past employment/internships more than the type of degree(so long as it’s relevant)
