Your record is really impressive. Especially your initiatives and experience in programming and development work on computer. Hats off!

I don’t think you would face much difficulty in getting admission in early action because acceptance rate of most colleges in US are high during EA.

But I guess you might lose the edge with your SAT scores. There would be hundreds of applicants who would have more than 2100/2200/2300.

So I would suggest that you should apply to more than 10 universities (dont bother about the rankings)

Thank you.

I will apply to 18-19 US universities, including Georgia Tech and Georgia Tech is my first choice. I hope my SAT score won’t affect my admission process in a negative manner.

Every comment is welcome, please don’t hesitate to chance me. :)

Do you need financial aid?

If you do, then I would suggest don’t apply to the public colleges because most of their financial aid funds are for domestic students. You might get it, but either the percentage would be quite low or you would be one of the handful of students to get financial aid.

BTW, if you have US citizenship, then its alright.

I am not a US citizen and I don’t need financial aid.

@donaldX -georgia tech doesnt not give any sort of financial aid to internationals whatsoever.

hey nkhlgeorge, can you read? I said, public colleges usually dont give financial aid to international students. and for your info, georgia tech is a public college

you did say
“You might get it, but either the percentage would be quite low or you would be one of the handful of students to get financial aid.”

but anyway lets not argue.
:)

Donald…most publics don’t give their own financial aid to out of state domestic students either.

I’ve recieved my new TOEFL score and it is 108/120.

Reading: 28/30
Listening: 29/30
Speaking: 26/30
Writing: 25/30
