Hey guys, I am now applying transfer to uc. I will get my gpa around 3.5-3.6, at least 3.4. I am applying computer engineering and alt major applied math. Here are the course I have finished
Cal 1 A
Cal 2. A
Cal 3. A
Linear algebra Probably B/C
Phy mechanics B
Phy elec. C
Phy wave. Probably A/B
General chem. probably A/ B
C prog. A
Java. A
Eng reading&composition. B

And I will finish eng2 which is critical analysis in winter and differential equation in spring.
I just wonder what is my chance to get in UCB/UCLA/UCSD/UCSB.
Can anyone help me?

the correct phrase is “what are my chances”

Most prospective computer engineers would be aware of search engines, and use one to check the ucla admissions site since they have a chart with the average gpa of transfer admits.

I applied alt major as applied math for UCLA and UCSD. Will they consider that? Also, I am wondering that what are my chances to get into UCSD and ucsb for computer engineering major.

Only if you are TAP certified, UCLA will consider an alternate major. If you are otherwise incredibly competitive, UCSD will consider an alternate major

@Zichun you’re low chance for engineering at ucla ucb. You can go for applied math and write an amazing personal statement! it means i get another competitor but let’s try together!

@bizmlover haha thx~ What about SD and SB? These two are what I care most! BTW if I apply applied math in ucla but ce in other uc, how I write my personal statement?
