What is my likeliness of getting into Emerson, Boston U, etc?

I have not taken SATs yet, this is just speculation.

I'm white, from suburban Michigan, GPA is 3.73, taking Honors English and AP American History. The standard math class this year is Algebra 2, but I am taking Geometry (a year behind). My father did not go to college and my mother dropped out of Boston College. I'm in Marching Band and the High School Video Club and have made some (what I consider to be good) short films (another detail, I am attempting to major in Film/Video Production). The primary colleges I am interested in are Emerson College, Boston University, and Fitchburg State College. Assuming my SAT scores are good, would I have a chance at any of these? Any help is greatly appreciated, and if any more details are required, I can post them...

Posting because I don’t really want this thread to die.

Posting again, would like at least some kind of answer…

You can definately get into Fitchburg. That shouldn’t be a problem.

With a good SAT score and if you keep up your GPA, you should make a good candidate for Emerson and BU. Emerson really likes when students initiate things so how you make short films will help. My friend also wants to go t Emerson and the counselors there told her to start a news station for our school. Maybe try to start a new club in your school that is different from the High School Video Club. I just know from my friend that they want people who will go out and start new things.

BU and Emerson do not offer good aid to most, can you afford them? With a 3.7 and at least their average SAT scores, you’d have a good shot.

@annoregni: Thanks a lot. I’ll probably end up going to Fitchburg and love it, but I would also love to try and go to the other ones. I’ll look into what you said. Thanks again.

@Redroses: Thanks as well. I’ll keep in mind the financial problems.
