What is my predicted writing score?

Hi guys I was just taking a practice test and on the writing sections i got 43 mc questions right and 6 wrong. Assuming I got a 10 on the essay what would be my writing section score?

680-690. if harsh curve, then 680. in good curve 690

I’d say it would be right around 700. The first time I took the SAT I got 10 wrong and 1 omit on the writing section and a 10 essay. That adds up to a -14 raw score with a 10 essay. I got a 620. Your score is a -8 raw score, so it should probably be around 700 + or - 10.

I’m assuming you don’t have the collegeboard bluebook, and that’s why you can’t figure out your score, so I definitely recommend getting that. Just by going through the 10 practice tests in that, I raised my score to a perfect 800 (every multiple choice right with a 12 essay).

Oh I do have the blue book , I just didn’t know how to get a score just for writing as I only did the writing sections for the test. And I got a 620 on writing on my first real SAT so a 700 from the 10 writing sections I’ve done so far is a really great improvement for me. Hopefully the last 10 sections will help me get those last 100 points. Then I have to work on my essay, any tips for it?
