I don't know how it works so I will just post my grades, can anyone calculate it out for me? I am a sophomore by the way, so it is just my sophomore grades.

1st semester
AP World History - A
Honors Chem - A
Honors English 10A(I heard H Eng doesn't get UC credit) - A
Honors Math Analysis - B
Spanish II - B
I have P.E. too, but it doesn't count right?

2nd semester
AP world - A
H chem - A
H Eng 10B - A
H math analysis - A
Spanish II - B

A 3.9. Why are you even bothering to calculate it now? It's pretty much useless since junior year counts for so much, not to mention SATs and SAT IIs.

3.9? Its much lower than I thought. :( I just want to know what I have so far. Can you explain to me how the UC gpa calculation works?

1 point extra for each UC-Approved honors class. and its capped at 8.

um, you have 3 Bs..how is that a surprise? LOL

GPAx213:

UCLA: Slight Reach

I thought it would be over 4.0. Anyways I have 5 APs next year, and I know if I work a bit more harder I can get better grades junior year than this year.

Umm. would having a C in PE hurt my uc gpa in anyway at all?

it is definitely over 4... i think peppers is just being a prick

I'm not calling his GPA weak, I'm calling him asking about it so early useless. There's so much that can happen next year that's going to be a lot more important. 3.9 is a good start, but, come on, its sophomore year. No SATs or AP scores whatsoever. You can't make a prediction at this point in time.

Is it? If so, I'm relieved. Thanks.

All I did so far is PSAT, two SAT II subject tests, and one AP test so its not much.

depends, we need your high school name

palisades charter high school.. its pretty competitve
