What would my UC GPA be if 5.0 is the highest weighted and 4.0 is the highest unweighted?
Sophomore year first then second semester (courses that count towards GPA):
1. Math Honors: B+, B+
2. AP Psychology: A-, A-
3. Chemistry Honors: B+, B+
4. English: B, A-
5. Spanish Honors: A-, A-
6. Orchestra: A, A

Junior year first then second semester (courses that count towards GPA):
1. US History: A, A-
2. English: A-, A-
3. Biology Honors: A, A
4. Precalculus Honors: B+, A
5. AP Spanish: A-, A
6. Orchestra: A, A

For the unweighted GPA Calculations:

A+, A, A- = 4
B+, B, B- = 3
C+, C, C- = 2
D+, D-, D = 1
F = 0

For weighted GPA calculations, add 1 point to the A, B, and C ranges above; a D+, D, or D- in a weighted class is still worth only 1 GPA point.

The extra point bump is awarded (at least in CA) to all AP classes and classes designated as junior/senior-level Honors classes. However, I don’t know which classes outside of the CA curriculum are given the extra point and which aren’t.

You can count at most 8 semesters’ worth of honors (including AP) courses as +1. If you have 6 a-g course grades per semester for a total of 24 semester grades, and at least 8 are in honors courses, then your UC admissions GPA will be 0.33 higher than your unweighted GPA from those courses.
