What mac address do you register for a wireless router? Mine has three different addresses as seen through the online gui - a lan, wan, and wireless each ending in xxxx:3A, xxxx:3B, xxxx:3C respectively. The one actually printed on the router is the xxxx:3A as well; I assume this is the one to use but just checking.

You don't need to know the mac address. Just have your computer plugged into your router when you register.

Gotcha, thanks samwise. You're a valuable tool.

Also, you can change your MAC adress at will, so if your router goes dead you can use that mac on your PC; also if you want to upgrade your router.

Also you can configure routers as dummy switches and then plug those back into your router to get more ports.

Also keep in mind that routers are often cheaper than switches and hubs. Never buy a router unless there is a good MIR or something.
