What is one class you wish you hadn't taken?

anatomy

In addition to memorizing (work), the overbearing teacher. I like freedom.

Health and gym, but those are required to graduate. :frowning: Probably this business class I took in 9th grade, because it lowered my GPA, the teacher was terrible, and we did absolutely nothing in class.

I wish I took AP US history instead of regular US history.
Other than that I have no regrets.
Also nice stick hero avatar, that game is fun

Spanish. I have no talent for languages and doing it was like pulling teeth. I didn’t need it either - the college I’m going to doesn’t require it for admission or graduation. I only took it because 1 year was required for my backup college, and since it was on my transcript when I applied for colleges, I couldn’t stop it or it would look like I failed. Call me lazy if you want. It’s just not my cup of tea.

Took Computer drafting my freshman year (I hate computers but I didn’t care about school at the time) Grade: C
Geometry (was required but I was suffering from severe depression at the time failed my last 3 tests) Grade: C
French (Instead of Spanish, went with cool over easy, 2nd semester of it changed teachers and teacher ended up getting fired for so many complaints) Grade:B,C
Science Classes Period ( Made a 92,92,91 in Bio, Geo, and Chem when the A cutoff is 93 -_-)

Also wish I had taken more AP Classes (Made all A’s in the 4 I took (APUSH, APEUH, APHG, APEL)

Honors Geometry. It’s easy, but I learned nothing from my teacher and I basically self-teach. My average is gonna be a low B for the year. The class average is probably like a 75.

Entrepuership and Architecture .

Intro to Business. Ugh I hate it so much. Worksheet after worksheet and no other learning. I wish I just took Accounting as my elective.

I deeply regret taking Intro to Engineering. I have no interest in becoming an engineer, but my counselor convinced me to take the class to fulfill the computer requirement for graduation. I only needed one semester of engineering to get the credits, and I came away from the first semester with an A+, though it hurt my weighted GPA because it wasn’t an honors class. I decided I’d might as well stick with the class for the rest of the year, but I got a new teacher for the second semester, and he was an impossible grader. I had no chance of getting anything better than an A-, so I was forced to drop it.

Meteorology…so much for an easy A!!

I regret not taking AP Physics/AP Chemistry to get me out a Natural Lab requirement at college.

AP Econ god damn my teacher makes it hard to like the class

“health science” in senior year
I thought it was like a bio class. Turns out it was just glorified “sex ed”…well credit was credit I guess

@djyoungqueef That sucks. My AP Econ teacher is the best teacher I’ve ever had

P.E. It lowered my UC GPA. I should have taken my P.E. requirement over the summer.

Spanish for sure. I found out this year that I can get 4 years of credit with a college course in my native language. Spanish at my school is so difficult, some Spanish speakers can barely pass Spanish 1 with a C.

Child development. We had a 30-50 point project every week and my teacher was the absolute worst grader

AP Bio. The teacher made it really hard and she was a terrible lady. So mean

I got stuck in a sewing class freshmen year which sucked because I’m very unfashionable and horrible at sewing. The teacher didn’t like me either. I barely got a B.
