Im planning to attend Rutgers New Brunswick. I come from a big high school(2000+). I also want to dorm.

it’s an awesome school. i’m about to graduate in may and the amount of opportunities, the different kinds of people you come across, and the quality of academics make it a great value. I also came from a hs with over 2000 kids and dormed every year.

Thanks man

It’s a seriously underrated school. I just finished my freshman year here and it was the best time of my life so far. I am so excited for next semester. However, like all colleges, college is what you make of it. I highly suggest getting involved. It’s how you meet tons of people and make friends; and meeting my best friends here is literally what made my college experience so amazing. Rutgers is obviously a huge school. By joining clubs/organizations you get a little more of a small school feel and you get the best of both worlds.

I have to say the environment is really friendly and diverse. Most people here are nice/friendly and there are so many different kinds of people you’re bound to find some people you click with. If you’re not the party type, there are tons of non-partiers. If you are the party type, there are also tons of partiers haha so just go in with an open mind and go with the flow! Each campus is unique; like if you want a city feel you can go to college ave or if you want a nice peaceful place with lots of green you can go to cook/douglass!

Thanks, both replies were amazing, hopefully I get accepted, but I have yet to go on a tour, im debating with rutgers, rider or monmouth
