Yeah, Donald Trump graduated from Wharton…

What great people graduated from Penn Engineering?

Yeah, Donald Trump graduated from Wharton…

What great people graduated from Penn Engineering?

name 10 engineers in the world off the top of your head....go

see my point?

who cares about engineers? that's more the question.

penn engineering teaches more theory instead of fact. it gears students up to think more critically and practically, so when they go to the business world they have some skills. it isn't like cornell engineering etc.

but, stop making topics instead of threads!

Michael Milken graduated from wharton, so did <insert many="" famous="" whartonites="" here=""></insert>

There are also many famous SAS people. The fact is that everyone i know who came from penn, regardless of what school they went to, are very succesful now.

you don't have to pursue Enginnering as a career just b/c you have an engineering degree. NYC Mayor Bloomberg has an undergrad engineering degree, for instance. My implication that no Penn Engineering grads are well known for ANYTHING is relevant, especially if you consider the # of students Penn has awarded degrees to.

so ritchie is trying to dethrone mensa as the #1 most hated CC poster....way to go

if you actually read what i wrote, what you just said took away from your point.

and Warren Buffet attended Wharton (but didn't graduate) .......he was too fly

so did Jimmy Buffet.

lol...no, he didn't.

RitchieBoy, you are a total wiener. Why would you come on a college's board and trash it? And StonedPanda is right, he said that Penn grads are successful regardless of them working within their major. The point is, Penn offers a great education, and is very selective for good reason, because it prepares some of the best and the brightest in the world for their careers. To show you how ridiculous your comment and logic are, I present the following syllogism:

John Lynch attended Stanford University and majored in Communications.
John Lynch now plays safety for the Denver Broncos and makes millions of dollars every year.
Therefore, Stanford University has a very good Communications Department.

And besides richie, i'm all for being a realist. I wouldn't defend blindly. I'd agree with you if you were right -- but you arent!

The GREATEST thing about Penn, is that "Ritchieboy" won't be there!!

"so ritchie is trying to dethrone mensa as the #1 most hated CC poster...."

What, are you crazy? Ritchieboy is way worse than mensa.
