I feel like each post on here is using a different 4.0 scale. To clarify, what's a 90 on the 4.0 scale?

I think it’s a 3.6 because
X/4.0 = 90/100
(90*4.0)/100=X
you get 3.6 but that’s just what I think

It’s not as simple as multiplying your average by 4%…

A 90% average on the 4.0 scale may very well amount to something in the 3.6-3.8 range but it’s a little more complicated.

So it’s not a 3.5? I read somewhere that a 88 was a 3.3, 89 was 3.4, 90 was 3.5, 91 was 3.6…etc.

According to College Board’s conversion chart, a 90 on the 100 point scale would be approximately a 3.7 on the 4.0 scale.

[How to Convert Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale](<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>How to Convert (Calculate) Your GPA to a 4.0 Scale – BigFuture)

I think that chart is more for converting the letter grade to 4.0 and not the 100 point scale to 4.0

So there are no in-betweens for an A- and a B+? All I see is a 0.4 jump from 3.3 to 3.7…
