What is the acceptance rate for Williams RD if you got the phone call for Windows On Williams

So Im just tryna decide if I should ED to Williams or not cuz I saw that you had a good chance of getting in if you got the phone call. But I want to also apply to MIT. Don’t get me wrong, I like both schools almost equally, MIT just a bit more but not enough to almost lose a chance at Williams by not EDing

If you get accepted to WOW, your odds for acceptance to Williams are extremely high. Just the phone call?

You can, of course, apply ED to Williams and EA to MIT.

I know it’s unrealistic but say you get accepted ED to Williams, well if you get accepted to MIT then you’ll still have to go to Williams

MIT’s EA acceptance rate is sub 5%. Any college’s Ed acceptance rate will be far higher.

Don’t apply ED if the school is not your number one choice and you’d be thrilled to attend.

I’ll leave the decision to you, since I’m struggling to see how one can like the 2 schools almost equally, since there are so many differences.

Sounds like you have some pretty impressive stats. There is probably a high correlation between getting accepted to Williams and also getting accepted to MIT. The schools are very different, but it sounds like your stats will be competitive for both.

Did you consider EA to MIT and then RD to Williams?

The WOW phone call is just something that for people who got rejected to WOW, they give an invitation to have a 30 minute conversation with a Williams student, it’s apparently the highest tier of rejection and rare
