What is the Barnard Woman?

Title^

Qualities they would want in an applicant, etc.

The ideal applicant?

Ping!

:)

You. Are. Annoying.
Order. A. Viewbook.

Read. It.

Stop. Asking. Annoying. Questions.

Okay. Sorry.
My point is, just Be yourself. If you get in, then you know that you were an ideal applicant.
If you don’t get in, you know that you didn’t belong there.
Don’t try to mold yourself into something you’re not. Trust me: it will backfire, unless you are ace at lying, ********ting, and writing.

I think one of the emails i got from Barnard admissions said, “college is about who you want to be in the future.”

One of the stereotypes is that Barnard is filled with

“Strong, bold, beautiful Barnard women”

Obviously a viewbook is trying to SELL the college, so itd come off as everything you WANT to be… But I guess one thing that I think is a strong prerequisite: feminism.

I don’t think you’d enjoy your time at Barnard at all if you thought feminism was something of a joke.

Also, stop being lazy. Read the damn website geez. Your post makes it seem like you want US to write your godforsaken supplement essays for you.

I know what they probably wouldn’t appreciate–immaturity. Although I concede that my irritable posts on this thread comes off as somewhat immature a well… but Geez.

Do your research. Don’t try to like Barnard for contrived reasons. Doing your research will better prepare YOU for a Barnard you want to attend. Having other people do it for you will help you in no way at all.

Quick answers are not the solutions to life.

Please be a little more cordial, noloserhere.

noloserhere- Jeez Louise. She’s asking a legitimate question. College confidential exists for questions like that. Back off.
Barnard loves to see that you’re passionate.

Be yourself. Put your passion forward clearly in your essays. Do your best work so you get great grades…
