Hi. I took the ACT in December 2013 and scored a 23. While taking the test, I know I wasn't performing as well as I could. I want to ensure that my score will increase so I am willing to put in the effort to study. I am taking the ACT on September 13, 2014. so I have a little less than 2 months. I also heard of a website called Prepme and have considered getting a tutor. What do you all think?

Forget about the tutor, imho it’s a waste of your money. The Kaplan ACT prep book is really helpful, something I used to get a 32. In addition, use the red “Real ACT prep” book to take practice tests. All you need is self-discipline and the willingness to learn and get your desired score.

Princeton review’s “cracking the act” and “1296 act practice questions” are awesome.

thanks ! I just purchased The Real ACT Prep Guide

Yeah, focus on your practice tests like @elitepwnage says. The students that I know that have used prepme find it boring. The Red Book is the best, 5 practice tests and easy to get a used copy for only $10.
