does anyone know what the best cell phone provider is? to get the best reception and signal at berkeley?

I don’t know, but T-mobile would be the worst to have… no signal in main stack, le conte lecture hall… Now I have at&t and it works ok (not the best since I don’t have signal in some area)

Verizon, but the Verizon has the worst rates and its personnel are jerks.

I have AT&T, and it works fine. There are only a few places where I can’t get reception - Crossroads, Stanley, and one or two other buildings.

I use AT&T with no problems so far

I’m currently using the Verzion network, but my provider is actually a reseller.

Yes, that company is quite sketchy and has various issues, but there’s no contract and the price is very enticing. I pay less than $30/mo for their 1200min/1200txt plan and have gotten reception everywhere on campus except the basement of Soda Hall.

Hi Mark. ^ditto.

The only place that I didn’t get reception is on the BART will it’s going underwater and some random time in the bathroom. T-mobile sucks. My friend can’t even get signal from her room.

what about sprint?? I really want to sign up for a two year plan, because of their 69 dollar deal on texting, talking, and data plan… would sprint give me coverage on all parts of campus?
