What is the best cell service at Cornell?

Verizon is the best option

Verizon is not the best option if you are an international student or plan on traveling overseas. Verizon does not work well outside of US.

So does Verizon iphone OR Att iphone work faster (data-wise) all over campus and particularly inside Balch? And what about cell reception, can you get that inside Balch and all over campus? I need to get a new iphone and don’t know which carrier to get!

I believe Cornell has wifi

Yes I understand they do. But that didn’t pertain to my question, I guess I was unclear. I meant to say which cell phone data speed is better.

I must get a data plan with my new iphone and I need to know if Verizon’s 3G is faster or ATT’s 4G in Ithaca. Also, how good is the cell reception around North and Central campus. Which carrier is superior in terms of getting enough coverage inside of Balch and other building on campus?

I guess I wasn’t clear, you would use Cornell’s wifi when you are on campus, so you wouldn’t be using your wireless provider’s data service.

I still need to know which carrier has speedier data delivery in Ithaca, just in case I need it!

Also the second part to my question remains unanswered… which service works best inside buildings and gets the most cell reception around campus?
