What is the best chemical engineering school I could get into?

I’m almost a 100% sure MIT’s Chemical Engineering program is better than Drexel’s…

That was uncalled for, WTT.

That’s obvious. I know MIT is a high, high reach. All I am asking is where I will most likely be accepted based on the information I provided. That’s not funny.

For Duke and Johns Hopkins, I actually applied for their Biomedical Engineering program.
For City College I applied for Liberal Arts but when I tried to switch majors, they told me at the last minute that it didn’t go through and they made a decision yesterday on my original CUNY application in which I applied to every college for Liberal Arts and Hunter College is first.

I know that it is pretty difficult to predict my results but I appreciate any contributions. I don’t know what I could do to increase my chances since I took the SAT two times and its mostly too late to take it again anyway.

I think your only problem is your SAT.
Other than that, you are well over other applicants.
Great class rank and GPA will hopefully offset your SAT.

I received great news today that I was accepted to SUNY Binghamton!

^Congratulations.

I’m not sure what you are trying to say here, schmohawk. I was simply stating her statement was incorrect.

Congratulations! I was sure that you will get in.

Thank you! :)

Great news!
I bet you’ll get more good news, too. You will have decisions to make!

Yeah so far based on cost only, Binghamton > Drexel. I kinda forgot I applied to Bioengineering at Binghamton, but I am really interested in that too.

Thanks 1042394059681729 and schmohawk for your help and encouragement!

Pitt’s really great. My parents are both chemical engineering grads from there. Pittsburgh is a very friendly city as well with a lot of great stuff to do.

Thanks tomatosoup2, hopefully I’ll get an acceptance letter from them too. It will be a hard decision.

As a update, I got accepted to WPI and all the CUNY’s as well.
Does anyone have any input for the chances of the remaining schools?
