What is the best college I can get in to?

Hey guys, I'm going to be graduating High School in the class of '11 and I'll be applying to quite a few colleges. I'd just like to know what are the top schools I should be looking at. I have quite a bit of financial need as my father makes under $35k and my mother is unemployed.

-English: 25
-Math: 26
-Reading: 27

-Writing: 8

Teacher Recs: Good
Counselor Recs: Good

ECs:
Student Government President

Class Council Member
Leadership Student
Freshman Mentor Program

So what are the best schools I have a semi-decent chance of getting accepted to?

Thanks for the help guys.

check UDallas, Boston U, Fordham U, Gonzaga U, Boston College, Loyola Marymount, maybe NYU, try Michigan still since you are in-state

In-state, try University of Michigan if not Michigan State University, I am biased!! ;p

Go State!! lol

What can your parents afford

My parents cannot afford college; community college is out of the question though.

Why is community college out of the question?

I don’t have any school recommendations, but if you can get at least a 33 ACT or a 2200 SAT I think you could get into Michigan or a like (similar) school with a decent scholarship. It’s a big jump, but you have potential. A very high SAT score or, presumably, a very high ACT score alone could get you big to full scholarships to many great state/city schools.

Are there any state scholarships that you can use for your local directional college?
