What is the best college I can get into?

Hi, I'm a sophomore and I'm not really sure what kind of colleges I should apply to based on my stats. I tried to fill in the blanks for my senior status as much as possible. Any advice?

Only two colleges I'm sure I'm applying to: UF, Johns Hopkins
My dream is to get into Johns Hopkins or an Ivy

Oh yea, I'm interested in Medicine. Not sure what kind of doctor though.

Where do you think I should apply, where do you think I can get admission, and what should I do to improve my resume other than increasing my SAT?

honestly, the sky is the limit. Just do well on the standardized tests and write some stellar essays.

Don’t be too anxious, Ash. Responses and recs right now will be a poor indication. Rule of thumb is wait after junior year is at least 3/4th over and you have finalized your SATs to get a more accurate rec.

i’ve seen this outline so many times, and i say wait until junior year:
you’ll either hit an invisible wall and realize the ludicrous nature of your plans.
or you will do fine and succeed, almost like every other asian with those stats.

everything’s in your own hands as of now, so spend less time on CC and more time
doing something so that you can pad your resume some more.

I doubt you’ll take 14 APs. You’ll wind up shooting yourself after senior year. Don’t worry about your stats and chances until junior year. Work hard now and enjoy your time in high school. Plus your plans will probably change. I wanted to be a lawyer freshman year. Sophomore year I didn’t know, and now I want to be a podiatrist. People change their minds. Good luck
