With all these rankings and lists... I'm really confused!!! How do I know that the college I choose is a good one?

I'd like your opinions, (annoying, I know, haha)
rank theses choices...what are the better/ best college(s),(or the worst!?)

Goucher (Maryland)
DePaul (Il)
Flagler (Fl)
Fordham (NY)
Emerson (Boston)

(I think I'll probably be majoring in communications/journalism, but I'm not even sure so you can judge w/o that or whatever)

"rank these choices"
Bball, learn how to read.

Sorry I can't help you any more than he did, im not familiar enough with those schools.

If I were you, for communications, I would add American University and Syracuse University on your list. They are both great in journalism and not SUPER selective.

As for the list of schools you already have, I don't know enough about them to rank them, but I do know Fordham is really good.

Emerson is most selective (highest SATs) but Ruggs recommends DePaul, Flagler, and Fordham for communications/journalism. I'm not sure how to rank them.

fjm, i can read, it was a joke, she said what is the best college in her post, and i said NONE

the best is harvard,

peace!

thanks for the info everyone :)...

Although emerson seems like a completely fabulous school, I don't think its right for me. I definitely want to explore more that just journalism and communications throught my college career, and it seems like that is pretty much what they offer. and right now, i have decided that Chicago might be too cold... haha. So that might cross DePaul off the list!

I've visited all the campuses except for Flagler... which I REALLY want to go see, but I can't afford it/ don't have time right now

Goucher and Flagler are probably my top choices as of today. I love the study abroad/international aspect of Goucher... and the idea of a warm, sunny, beautiful campus (Flagler) is REALLY appealing to me right now as its under 30 degrees here in New England!! Flagler also seems like it has great progams for me (both communications and intenational studies, although no languages other than spanish :( ) Fordham is up there on my list too. Guess I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope to get into flagler and fordham, since I'm already into Goucher.
