I live in Nevada. I’m on the varsity soccer team, on the make a wish foundation club, and on the teenage republican society club. I was ranked in the second quartile of my school, and I have a 2.9 unweighted gpa.

With a 2.9 UW GPA, you’re going to have a tough time getting into many schools. The SAT is OK, but it won’t significantly help either.

You could try going to CC for two years and getting a 3.5+ GPA and transfer to a school of your choosing.

If not, have you looked at UNLV or UNR? You’d pay in-state tuition at least. Wouldn’t be to your advantage to go out of state and pay more at a similar school (like a Cal State or ASU).
