To those of you who are current students at Cornell, if you could only name one thing what would be the best thing about Cornell?

Extracurriculars/clubs.

What I love about Cornell is that it’s impossible for you not to find a club or community that you can use as your main outlet for creative energy or just to make friends. I joined the Chorus my first semester and it was the best decision of my life - I now have a lot of friends that aren’t my major or grade but share a passion of mine, and it’s really the best community I’ve found in my life thus far. There are so many communities like that on campus that you can make your home, and that’s what I love about Cornell.

Great people, and so many amazing opportunities (research, clubs, project teams, volunteer projects, and so much more)

Thanks for both of your replies. My daughter is a rising senior and has fallen in love with Cornell. She went for a tour and they stressed many of the things that you said and it made her love Cornell even more. I’m so glad to hear that it’s true. Now I just have to hope she gets accepted (She will be applying ED)
