Man, I remember when we used to crowd around my 17" CRT TV to play four player split screen games back my freshman year. You guys that say you need 30"+ TVs are totally spoiled.

Wow, you guys take your televisions seriously. When I go to college, I’m bringing whatever will fit in the car.

I’m bringing a TV I found on the side of the road six blocks from my house. I don’t know how you measure TVs, but the screen is 11.5" across. More importantly, it was freeeeee.

I have a 46" TV in my living room and I know that it would never be practical for a dorm room. I think that a 42" would take up too much room at that. I’d imagine a 32" would be very practical. I have a 32" in the extra bedroom (which I’d imagine to be the size of a dorm) and it doesn’t take up too much room.

Having a big TV has its benefits. I love having people over and play games on a huge TV :)

My roommate brought a 26 inch flat screen… It’s pretty sweet. Big enough to see everything clearly from the bed, small enough to not take up half the room.
